CALL TO ORDER 

Mayor McCombie called the meeting to order at 7:31 p.m.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES 

Trustee Patel made a motion to approve the minutes of the Regular Village Board Meeting of March 10, 2022. Trustee Kerman seconded the motion. All in favor. Motion carried. 

Mayor McCombie tabled the following the minutes of the Special Joint Village Board and Plan Commission/Zoning Board of Appeals meetings of March 14, 2022 and April 7, 2022. 

WARRANTS AND VILLAGE FINANCIAL STATEMENTS 

Trustee Abbate made a motion to approve Warrant Run #1 in the amount of $122,349.45. Trustee Stagno seconded the motion. Roll Call: Trustee Abbate-Aye, Trustee Alvarado-Absent, Trustee Guranovich-Aye, Trustee Kerman-Aye, Trustee Patel-Aye, Trustee Stagno-Aye. Ayes-5, Nays-0, Absent-1. Motion carried 

Trustee Kerman made a motion to approve Warrant Run #2 in the amount of $236,596.19. Trustee Patel seconded the motion. Trustee Abbate made a motion to accept the Statement of Revenues and Expenditures as of March 31, 2022. Trustee Kerman seconded the motion. All in favor. Motion carried. 

Trustee Kerman made a motion to accept the Detailed Balance Sheet as of March 31, 2022. Trustee Patel seconded the motion. All in favor. Motion carried. 

PUBLIC COMMENTS / OUESTIONS / PRESENTATIONS 

Mayor McCombie invited members of the public to address the Board. The following attendees made presentations. Eric Eggersdorfer with Master Axe made a presentation to the Board. Mr. Eggersdorfer gave a brief overview of his axe throwing business open in Bolingbrook. Mr. Eggersdorfer is interested in opening a second location in The Arboretum of South Barrington and is seeking a liquor license for beer and wine. Mr. Eggersdorfer stated that the age limit would be 10 years old and older and a limit would be placed on alcohol ordered by hour (e.g. 1 hour = 2 drinks, 2 hours = 3 drinks maximum). Additionally, Mr. Eggersdorfer would install additional fencing between lanes as an extra safety measure. Mr. Eggersdorfer would not provide food but would work with the local restaurants to provide delivery/catering services to individuals and groups. The Board instructed Mr. Eggersdorfer to do more research and provide a food service plan and agreement with local restaurant, create a rules and policy for alcohol, and provide some estimated on gross sales with alcohol, and return to the Board for consideration. Deanna Naura with The Social Loft made a presentation to the Board. Ms. Naura gave a brief overview of her business concept described as a boutique event space. The space could be used for bridal/baby showers, corporate events, and birth parties. The guests would rent the space and would be able to bring in food from local area restaurants. Ms. Naura is seeking a liquor license to allow for alcohol to be served at hosted events. The Board thanked Ms. Naura Mayor McCombie invited members of the public to address the Board. Hearing none, the meeting proceeded with the published agenda items. Mayor's Monthly Report: Mayor McCombie did not give a report.
