Each year as part of the Fiscal Year Budget, the City Council allocates funding to support agencies that provide services to Des Plaines residents in need. This year we received applications from 33 agencies that were reviewed and evaluated by our Health and Human Services department. At the April 18, 2022 Council meeting, HHS made recommendations for funding. The funding recipients can be seen here.
