Report: Arlington Heights School District spent $13,876 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Arlington Heights School District 25 was up 10 percent from five years ago, according to the North Cook News analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Cook County school district spent $12,610 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $13,876 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment rose from 5,393 to 5,527 students over the same period.

Arlington Heights's spending in 2019-20 was 4.3 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
