Report: Lincolnwood School District spent $20,133 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Lincolnwood School District 74 was up 18.7 percent from five years ago, according to the North Cook News analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Cook County school district spent $16,966 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $20,133 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment rose from 1,236 to 1,251 students over the same period.

Lincolnwood's spending in 2019-20 was 38.9 percent higher than the state average of $14,492.
