City of Des Plaines issued the following announcement on Jan. 19
The State of Illinois, Cook County and Cook County Health are opening a COVID-19 vaccination site in Des Plaines at the previous Kmart location at 1155 East Oakton Street. Hours of operation are Tuesday through Saturday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sundays 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines will be available to anyone age 5 and older. Walk-ins welcome, but appointments are preferred and prioritized.
