Village of Streamwood Village Board met Nov. 18.

2021 TAX LEVIES

CALL TO ORDER

President Roth called the Public Hearing to order a 6:30 p.m.

ROLL CALL

Trustee William Harper Present 

Trustee Mary Thon Present 

Trustee Larry Schmidt Present 

Trustee Rezwanul Haque Present 

Trustee Michael Baumer Present 

Trustee James Cecille Present 

President Billie D. Roth Present

All those answering “present” were physically present at the meeting.

The purpose of this public hearing is for the Village Board to receive public testimony in reference to the proposed 2021 property tax levies.

The tax levies as proposed by Village Staff have been and will continue to be available for inspection in the Village Clerk’s office.

This hearing may be adjourned to another date without further notice other than a motion to be entered upon the minutes of this meeting fixing the time and place of its adjournment.

All interested parties are invited to sign in for the purpose of providing testimony.

Notice of this Public Hearing for the 2021 Property Tax Levy was published on November 10, 2021 in the Streamwood Examiner.

No written testimony has been received; no one present has signed in to provide testimony.

Finance Director Josh Peacock stated the 2021 Tax Levy is equal to the 2020 Tax Extension. Debt Service fell 3% and public safety pension increases are offset by decreasing the General Fund levy.

Trustee Cecille moved to adjourn. Trustee Haque seconded the motion. A voice vote approved the adjournment. The Public Hearing adjourned at 6:33 p.m.
