Judson University issued the following announcement on Oct. 6
The Judson Men's Soccer Team scored three first-half goals to win the match 3-2 on Saturday.
Saint Ambrose scored one goal in the first half and one goal in the second half. During the first half, the Eagles took advantage on scoring two quick goals after St. Ambrose scored. Martin Wainstein scored the Eagles first goal assisted by Victor Costa, and just over a minute later an unassisted goal from Luis Germano scored the Eagles a second goal of the first half. Towards the end of the first half, the Eagles kept the pressure and scored their third goal of the first half from Sebastian Padua and was assisted by Germano. Heading into the second half Eagles was taking a 3-1 lead, and just needs to hold off St. Ambrose. Overall, the Eagles hold off St. Ambrose to get a 3-2 victory. The Eagles took 12 shots and 7 of those shots were on goal.
Judson (10-2-2) returns to action on Saturday against Cardinal Stritch, October 23 at 2:45p.m. in Crystal Lake, IL for Senior Day.
