EVANSTON TOWNSHIP HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT 202:

College graduation form 690

Evanston Township High School District 202 issued the following announcement on May 19.

District 65 is proud to celebrate our graduating Class of 2021! With the conclusion of an exceptional school year, we want to acknowledge our amazing students, families, parents, and caregivers for their hard work and tenacity in reaching this memorable milestone. In an effort to make graduation day as streamlined as possible, we encourage our community and graduating class to review important information related to middle school graduations. 

GRADUATION LOGISTICS - VIEWING GRADUATION CEREMONIES 

Chute, Haven, and Nichols graduation ceremonies will be held virtually on Tuesday, June 1 at 7pm. Families will be able to tune in to their school's graduation ceremony by viewing the event via their school's respective YouTube channel. 

IN-PERSON CEREMONIES 

Park School and Rice Education Center will be the only two schools to host an in-person ceremony on their campuses. Graduating students enrolled at Park School will be able to attend this ceremony on Friday, May 28 at 1pm and students enrolled at Rice Education Center will attend their ceremony on Tuesday, June 1 at 12pm.

DISTRIBUTION OF DIPLOMAS 

Each school will distribute diplomas to their graduating students at their school campuses. Chute, Nichols, Park, and Rice students will be able to receive their diplomas on Wednesday, May 26 from 4: 30-7: 30pm. Haven Middle School students will receive their diplomas in a two-day timeframe on Wednesday, May 26 and Thursday, May 27, from 4: 30-7: 30pm as well. 

GRADUATION MATERIALS 

We encourage our families to reach out to their student's respective school leaders for questions related to graduation gowns, caps, diplomas, and photos. 

If you have any additional questions regarding middle school graduation ceremonies, please reach out to your student's principal. Congratulations to the Class of 2021! While your academic journey will continue to blossom, please remember that your roots are always within our District 65 family!
