City of Des Plaines recently issued the following announcement.
We are excited to welcome five newly elected officials to the City. Mayor Andrew Goczkowski, City Clerk Jessica Mastalski and four alderman --Mark Lysakowski (Ward 1), Sean Oskerka (Ward 3), Carla Brookman (Ward 5) and Patricia Smith (Ward 7). Mayor Goczkowski, Alderman Lysakowski and Alderman Brookman are familiar faces on the City Council, all serving in aldermanic seats previously. Clerk Mastalski, Alderman Oskerka and Alderman Smith are newcomers to elected office.
