Mark your calendars! Recipients of the African American Youth Achievement Awards (AAYAA) will be announced on Thursday, March 18! Now in its 24th year, AAYAA pays tribute to the African American youth in our community who are excelling academically in their classrooms or socially in their extracurricular activities.
Two African American students from each District 65 school and each class at Evanston Township High School will be selected to be honored at the virtual award ceremony that will take place later this month. The virtual ceremony will be available for public viewing on Evanston Township High School’s YouTube channel.
