Please Note - Any person wishing to respectfully share thoughts about any matter concerning the Northbrook Board of Trustees may do so by (1) attending the meeting in person or virtually, or (2) submitting an email to publiccomments@northbrook.il.us by the time the Village President begins Public Comment Time during the Village Board meeting. If desired and so indicated by the email author, the email received will be read aloud during the Public Comment Time the Village Board meeting. All emails that will be read aloud must be under 200 words to allow time for others to be heard and for the Board to progress through the public meeting agenda. The Board typically does not immediately respond to public comments or engage in open dialogue, but the Board is of course, actively listening to all comments made. Thank you for your understanding of these guidelines

Persons wishing to provide ‘live’ comments can do so by joining the virtual meeting via Webex (see instructions above) and using the chat function to enter their name or using the “raise your hand” feature. Individuals will be called upon one at a time during Public Comment Time.

A. RESOLUTION NO.21-

A Resolution Recognizing Telecommunicator Michael Nicholson for 39 Years of Service in the Police Department

8. CONSENT AGENDA

The matters listed for consideration on the Consent Agenda are matters that appear to have the unanimous support of the Board of Trustees. The Village President will review, designate the resolution or ordinance number for passage and then inquire if any member of the Board or member of the public objects to any item on the Consent Agenda. If any objections are raised, the matter will be removed from the Consent Agenda and relocated to a location on this agenda for consideration during the appropriate Board Committee report. If no objection is voiced, the Village President will request a motion and second for passage of all items listed. The resultant roll call vote on the Consent Agenda will be applicable to each individual agenda item.

The comments made by Board Members this evening are the preliminary comments of individual trustees and do not represent the opinion or final determination of the Village of Northbrook. No final decision on the requested relief can or will be made until after the matter goes through the Village zoning process, which may include a public hearing and recommendation by the Northbrook Plan Commission.
