Evanston-Skokie Community Consolidated School District 65 issued the following announcement on Jan 19.
All Evanston/Skokie residents and D65 staff members are invited to attend virtual community cafes hosted by D65 School Board Members on January 27 and January 30! The virtual cafes will serve as an opportunity for informal conversation and discussion around the district's financial outlook, budget reduction process, and priorities as we plan for the district's future. The virtual sessions will be held on different days and times to increase access for community participation. The January 27 meeting will be hosted in English with Spanish translation provided and the January 30 session will be hosted in Spanish with English translation provided. Individuals are welcome to attend the virtual sessions on Wednesday, January 27 at 4 PM and Saturday, January 30 at 10 AM. Register for both events using the links below. After registering, interested participants will receive a confirmation email detailing instructions for joining either meeting.
