As the Village of Barrington continues to follow social distancing requirements and Governor Priker’s Stay-At-Home order during the COVID-19 crisis, public comments will be accepted by email, phone call, or in person. Public comments received by 7:00 p.m., Monday, January 11, 2021 will be read at the beginning of the meeting under Public Comment. Public Comments are limited to three minutes per person (approximately 400 wrien words). To submit public comment, submit an email to vobvm@barrington-il.gov, including:

4. CONSENT AGENDA - CONSIDERATION OF AN "OMNIBUS VOTE" (*)

Illinois Municipalities may adopt by a single roll call vote of the Village Board and Village

President a group of assorted ordinances, resolutions, motions and orders by an Omnibus Vote.

The Omnibus Vote shall be taken following the unanimous consent by the President and Board as to the items to be included in such vote. Any Trustee or the President may request that any item proposed to be included in an "Omnibus Vote" not be included in that vote.

i. CONSIDERATION RE: Motion to take a single roll call vote on the question of passage of Agenda Items designated by an asterisk (*) for voting purposes on the Consent Agenda. The motion requires unanimous consent of the President and Board of Trustees.

Prior to acting on this motion, the Chairperson will identify those items to be included on the Consent Agenda. It is at this point that any Trustee or the President may request that any item be deleted.

ii. CONSIDERATION RE: Motion to approve by an omnibus vote those Ordinances, Resolutions, Motions and Orders contained on the Consent Agenda and designated by an asterisk (*) by an omnibus vote.

*a. MOTION: to Receive and Place on File a Recommendation from the Plan Commission Re: an Annexation Ordinance for 36 E. Dundee Road

*b. MOTION: to Receive and Place on File a Recommendation from the Plan Commission Re: PC 20-06; 40 E. Dundee Road (Barrington Middle School - Prairie Campus) Special Use Planned Development Amendment and Annexation of 36 E. Dundee Road

*c. MOTION: to Receive and Place on File a Recommendation from the Plan Commission Re: PC 20-07; 215-217 Eastern Avenue (Barrington Middle School - Station Campus) Special Use Planned Development

*d. MOTION: Authorize to Proceed with the Hiring of One Full-Time Utility Treatment Operator Position based on the following conditions: meets the qualifications established for and demonstrates the ability to perform essential duties and responsibilities of the position outlined in the Village of Barrington Job Description for the Public Works Full Time UTO Position, subject to salary range $26.11 - $35.63 per hour

*e. MOTION: Authorize staff to proceed with the hiring of the Seasonal position according to the approved position and hours established in the 2021 Compensation Plan based on the following parameters: meets the qualifications established for and demonstrates ability to perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the position, subject to an hourly rate of $15.00 to $18.00

*f. RESOLUTION #20- : Authorizing a Waiver of Competitive Bids and Approving the Purchase of One Zoll 12-Lead Defibrillator/ Monitor

*g. RESOLUTION #20- : Approving and Authorizing the Execution of a Final Plat of Subdivision or Resubdivision in the Nature of a Consolidation of Lots or Parcels, or Portions Thereof, Into a Single Zoning Lot of Approximately 0.83 Acres in Lot Area (RE: The Plat of Resubdivision of MBJ Consolidation)

a. MOTION: Receive and Place on File a Recommendation from the Zoning Board of Appeals Re: ZBA 20-04: 707 Sycamore Road

6. PAYMENT OF BILLS: CONSIDERATION RE: MOTION TO APPROVE 

a. Warrants’ List – 1/11/2021 – $ 1,455,659.06 (Expenditures and Payroll – All Funds)
