City of Evanston Design & Project Review Committee met Dec. 15.

Here is the agenda provided by the committee:

I. CALL TO ORDER/DECLARATION OF QUORUM, JOHANNA NYDEN, CHAIR

II. SUSPENSION OF THE RULES: Member participation electronically or by telephone.

III. MINUTES: December 2, 2020, meeting minutes.

IV. NEW BUSINESS

1. 811 Emerson Street        Major Adjustment to a Planned Development CA/Focus Evanston Property, applicant, submits for major adjustment to a planned development, 811 Emerson Planned Development, approved by City Council on July 11, 2017, Ordinance No. 37-O-17. The planned development was approved with 174 off-street parking spaces. The applicant seeks to reduce the required off-street parking from 174 to 170 due to necessary construction modifications then make 50% of those parking spaces (85 parking spaces) available for public use, in the C1a Commercial District.

2. Dempster Street/Dodge Avenue PACE Bus Stop          Concept Review PACE, applicant, submits for concept review of bus stop improvements to the Dempster/Dodge PACE Bus Stop, Pulse Dempster Line, northeast and southwest corners of the intersection of Dempster Street and Dodge Avenue. Improvements include new heated shelter with customizable shelter panels, trash receptacle, bicycle racks, and landscaping (if space available), and Vertical Marker with Real Time Sign, in the C1 Commercial District.
