Q3 2019 Recap: Parolees near Illinois zip code 60107 convicted of crimes against persons

There were two offenders convicted of crimes against persons released on parole near Illinois zip code 60107 during the third quarter, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by the North Cook News.

The data shows that both of the released offenders in 60107 were men. The younger parolee was a 25-year-old man sentenced in 2019. The other was a 45-year-old man sentenced in 2018.

The offender who was incarcerated the longest was Michael Rose. He was convicted of a crime against a person in 2018 when he was 43 years old. He is now 45.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below shows the 50 zips in Illinois with the most paroled offenders in the third quarter who were convicted of crimes against persons.
