Evanston home prices rise in the second quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2019 in Evanston rose by $19,000 while total sales decreased by 4.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2019, there were 309 homes sold, with a median sale price of $340,000 - a 5.9% increase over the $321,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 325 homes sold in Evanston in the second quarter of 2018.
