Rogers Park home prices fall in May 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in May 2019 in Rogers Park, a Chicago neighborhood, fell by $17,500 while total sales increased by 47.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In May 2019, there were 71 homes sold, with a median sale price of $175,000 - a 9.1% decrease over the $192,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 48 homes sold in Rogers Park in May 2018.

The median sales tax in Rogers Park for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $2,474, approximately 1.4% of the median home sale price for May 2019.
