Skokie home prices fall in May 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in May 2019 in Skokie fell by $4,000 while total sales decreased by 6.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In May 2019, there were 87 homes sold, with a median sale price of $310,000 - a 1.3% decrease over the $314,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 93 homes sold in Skokie in May 2018.

The median sales tax in Skokie for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $5,818, approximately 1.9% of the median home sale price for May 2019.
