2018 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in zip code 60016?

There were 31 offenders released on parole during 2018 that live near Illinois zip code 60016, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by North Cook News.

The data shows that 28 men and three women were released in the Des Plaines zip code. Of the parolees, one is a veteran, and the median age was 39. The youngest parolee was a 21-year-old man convicted of a crime against a person in 2018, and the oldest was a 67-year-old man convicted of a crime against a person in 2018.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Adriel Israel. He was convicted of a crime against a person in 2009, when he was 25 years old. He is now 35.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
