2018 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in zip code 60005?

There were 11 offenders released on parole during 2018 that live near Illinois zip code 60005, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by North Cook News.

The data shows that 10 men and one woman were released in the Arlington Heights zip code. The median age of the parolees was 35. The youngest parolee was a 19-year-old man convicted of a property crime in 2017, and the oldest was a 56-year-old man convicted of a crime involving alcohol in 2018.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Jaris James. He was convicted of a property crime in 2014, when he was 21 years old. He is now 26.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
