Skokie home prices unchanged in November 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in November 2017 in Skokie was unchanged while total sales increased by 11.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In November 2017, there were 67 homes sold, with a median sale price of $270,000. There were 60 homes sold in Skokie in November 2016, and the median sales price for the period was also $270,000.

The median sales tax in Skokie for 2017 was $5,791. In 2016, the median sales tax was $5,804. This marks an decrease of 0.2%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.1%.
