Inverness home prices rise in March 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in March 2017 in Inverness rose by $75,500 while total sales decreased by 11.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In March 2017, there were eight homes sold, with a median sale price of $550,500 - a 15.9% increase over the $475,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were nine homes sold in Inverness in March 2016.

The median sales tax in Inverness for 2017 was $13,665. In 2016, the median sales tax was $13,290. This marks an increase of 2.8%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.5%.
