president candidate Sunil Shah returns $5,000 contribution from Sunil Shah

The campaign committee of president candidate Sunil Shah, Shah for Schaumburg, returned a $5,000 contribution from Sunil Shah on Jan. 15, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

Candidates sometimes refuse or return contributions because they do not want their campaign to be affiliated with the donor. Shah has not made any other contributions to Sunil Shah in the past 12 months.
