The campaign committee of state representative candidate Nick Sauer, Friends of Nick Sauer, returned a $2,500 contribution from Comcast Financial Agency Corp. on Oct. 15, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

Candidates sometimes refuse or return contributions because they do not want their campaign to be affiliated with the donor. Comcast Financial Agency Corp. has not made any other contributions to Nick Sauer in the past 12 months.
