state representative candidate Nick Sauer returns $500 contribution from Steve Auten

The campaign committee of state representative candidate Nick Sauer, Friends of Nick Sauer, returned a $500 contribution from Steve Auten on Oct. 15, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

Candidates sometimes refuse or return contributions because they do not want their campaign to be affiliated with the donor. Auten has not made any other contributions to Nick Sauer in the past 12 months.
