The Judson University men’s and women’s indoor track teams recently added to their record-setting seasons.
At the University of Platteville-Wisconsin on Feb. 9, sophomore sprinter Isabel Hindt raced to a school-record-setting time of 9.7 seconds in the 60-meter hurdles to finish 10th overall, while freshman Luka Obradovic finished the long-jump with a school-record distance of 6.29 to place 6th overall.
The duo’s impressive feats brought the Eagles’ overall number of record-setting performances this season to nine.
According to the school’s website, Hindt also placed fourth in the 400-meters with a time of 62.20 seconds, while junior Chloe Burkhart had Top 5 finishes in the mile (5:30.71) and 3000-meter run (10:59.15).
Next up for Judson—which also got Top 7 finishing performances from sophomore Alexis Nguyen in the high-jump (1.37 meters), senior Joseph Sipikorski in the mile (4:36.97) and sophomore Francisco Villanueva in the 60-meter hurdle (8.80 seconds)—is the Chicago Collegiate Athletic Conference Indoor Championships at Oliver Nazarene this weekend.
