Evanston-Skokie Community Consolidated School District 65 recently issued the following announcement.
On February 6, from 12:30-3:30pm, the office of Black Student Success will host our first D65 K-8 Black Student Affinity Group.
This student-centered gathering will celebrate and affirm students who identify as Black.
It will feature a performance by Free Lunch Academy and age-appropriate ice breakers to build a sense of community. The event will take place at Fleetwood-Jourdain, located at 1655 Foster Street.
