Report: Evanston-Skokie spent $14,266 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Evanston-Skokie Community Consolidated School District 65 is up 1.6 percent from five years ago, according to a North Cook News analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Cook County school district spent $14,041 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $14,266 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment rise over the same period, from 7191 to 7943.

Evanston-Skokie's spending in 2017-18 was 7 percent higher than the state average of $13,337.
