Report: Lincolnwood spent $17,639 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Lincolnwood School District 74 is up 4.6 percent from five years ago, according to a North Cook News analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Cook County school district spent $16,856 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $17,639 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 1257 to 1254.

Lincolnwood's spending in 2017-18 was 32.3 percent higher than the state average of $13,337.
