Report: Community Consolidated School District 62 spent $17,843 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Community Consolidated School District 62 is up 16.3 percent from five years ago, according to a North Cook News analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Cook County school district spent $15,340 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $17,843 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 4839 to 4589.

Community Consolidated School District 62's spending in 2017-18 was 33.8 percent higher than the state average of $13,337.
