VILLAGE OF WILMETTE: 2019 Consolidated Election – Candidate Information (Update 1/3)

Village of Wilmette recently issued the following announcement.

The Consolidated Election will be held Tuesday, April 2, 2019. At the Consolidated Election, the Village of Wilmette will have four Village Board offices on the ballot:

  • Village Trustee (4-year term)
  • Village Trustee (4-year term)
  • Village Trustee (4-year term)
  • Village Trustee (2-year term)
The following persons filed nominating petitions for candidacy for these offices (in order determined by date/time of filing and by lottery):

Village Trustee (4-Year Term) (vote for 3)

  1. Joel I. Feinstein
  2. Daniel E. Sullivan, Jr.
  3. Senta Plunkett
  4. Jeff Axelrod
  5. Ryrie Pellaton
  6. Gina Kennedy
  7. Andrew Levy
Village Trustee (2-Year Term) (vote for 1)

  1. Peter H. Barrow
  2. Jeff Axelrod
On December 26, 2018, Jeff Axelrod withdrew his candidacy for the office of Village Trustee (4-year term).  Also on December 26, 2018, Objections were filed challenging the candidacy filings of Ryrie Pellaton (linked here) and Andrew Levy (linked here).  On December 28, 2018, Andrew Levy filed a Withdrawal of Candidacy (linked here). On January 3, 2019, the Objection regarding Candidate Ryrie Pellaton was withdrawn.

Based on all the foregoing, the ballot order will now be as follows:

Village Trustee (4-Year Term) (vote for 3)

  1. Joel I. Feinstein
  2. Daniel E. Sullivan, Jr.
  3. Senta Plunkett
  4. Ryrie Pellaton
  5. Gina Kennedy
Village Trustee (2-Year Term) (vote for 1)

  1. Peter H. Barrow
  2. Jeff Axelrod
