Park Ridge-Niles Community Consolidated School District 64 issued the following announcement on Dec. 27.
This year, the Park Ridge Kiwanis (morning and noon) through their fundraising efforts and community support provided holiday gift baskets for 50 of our neediest families.
Each family received a $125 gift card for Mariano's of Park Ridge from the Kiwanis. In addition, Mariano's donated coupons for a ham and pie. We are delighted that the Kiwanis have “adopted” District 64 and thank them for their generosity in raising the funds to help make the holidays brighter for these families.
