Five Nazareth athletes sign up for colleges

Four Nazareth High baseball players and a gymnast signed letters of intent on national signing day, Dec. 19.

According to the school’s Facebook page, Michael Prosecky signed to attend the University of Louisville next fall, while Andrew McKenna signed with Holy Cross and Jack Krug and Zach Carmignani both inked letters of intent with Triton College. 

Gymnast Natalia Berruti rounded out the day’s action by signaling her intent to attend the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.

“Congratulations to these students and the many others who will continue to compete at the college level,” school officials added in their post to Facebook. “Nazareth students are receiving college acceptances and making their college choices every day so we expect this list to be growing and ongoing.”

On Nov. 25, at the Rooney Student Center, the school celebrated is 7A State football champions and all other fall sports teams.
