Evanston-Skokie Community Consolidated School District 65 recently issued the following announcement.
Kindergarten through sixth graders across District 65 are sharpening their math skills through the use of the ST Math program!
The program removes language barriers and focuses on visual learning as an innovative way to grasp math concepts.
Parents and caregivers - did you know that there is evidence that students who progress through ST Math score higher on math exams and deepen their understanding of various math concepts?
Students are encouraged and able to use ST Math at home! A tip for supporting your child with math homework is to never to show them how to do a problem.
Instead, ask questions and engage them in learning how to solve it! If you have questions about ST Math or how to access it at home, please contact your child’s teacher.
