State Senate race: Democrat Gillespie wins voter tally in Wheeling Township

Ann Gillespie led Republican Tom Rooney in votes cast in Wheeling Township for the District 27 state Senate race, according to the latest vote count.

Gillespie appeared to outpace Rooney by a margin of 4.8 percent on Tuesday in the township.
