State Senate race: Democrat Morrison wins voter tally in Northfield Township

Julie A. Morrison led Republican Barrett Davie in votes cast in Northfield Township for the District 29 state Senate race, according to the latest vote count.

Morrison appeared to outpace Davie by a margin of 30.2 percent on Tuesday in the township.
