Democrat Ann Gillespie has been declared the winner in the District 27 Senate race against Republican Tom Rooney.
With 100 percent of the precincts reporting, Gillespie had 51 percent of the vote with a total of 44,822 votes.
Rooney received 49 percent of the vote with a total of 42,214 votes.
