Rolling Meadows state House candidate Maggie Trevor received another $247,369 from Illinois House Speaker and Democrat Party Chief Michael Madigan (D-Chicago) between Sept. 29 and Oct. 17, state filings show.

The Madigan funding was disclosed in reports filed with the Illinois State Board of Elections (ISBE) by Citizens for Maggie Trevor, the campaign committee that supports Trevor’s race against Republican Tom Morrison in the 54 District.

The district covers all or part of Arlington Heights, Barrington, Hoffman Estates, Inverness, Palatine, Rolling Meadows and South Barrington.

Madigan’s contributions to Trevor came from the campaign funds he controls, including his own committee, Friends of Michael J. Madigan, the Illinois Democratic Party and the Democratic County Chairman’s Association of Illinois. In all, Madigan has contributed Tom Morrison to the candidate’s campaign.

From Sept. 29 to Oct. 17,  Madigan spent $4.37 million backing campaigns for 25 candidates.
