Evanston Township High School District 202 issued the following announcement on Sept. 18.
Evanston Township High School’s Wind Symphony will host the St. Olaf Band on Wednesday, October 17 at 7:00pm in the school auditorium. St. Olaf College (MN) students will join ETHS student musicians for a concert in the high school auditorium. The event is free for students with a current ID and adults may purchase tickets for $10 each.
Tickets will be sold at the door or can be purchased online: stolaf.edu/tickets.
Founded in 1891, The St. Olaf Band, dubbed “one of America’s preeminent bands” by The New Yorker, will perform in the Midwest on its 2018 national tour. For more information, visit https://wp.stolaf.edu/stolaf-band/.
ETHS is located at 1600 Dodge Ave. The auditorium is wheelchair accessible. Parking is available in the lot on Dodge Ave., directly across from the auditorium entrance. Event listings for the ETHS Fine Arts Department can be found on the Performing Arts webpage under the Community tab.
