Village of Bartlett issued the following announcement on July 13.
Everyone at Bartlett Village Hall on Thursday afternoon, 7/12, was treated to a performance by the Ju Meng Dance Troupe from Hsinchu, Taiwan. The performance of "Hakka Impressions," included a ribbon dance, parasol dance and dragon dance.
Arts in Bartlett helped establish Bartlett's Sister City in Miaoli, Taiwan eight years ago. In a visit to Taiwan last year with an Arts in Bartlett contingent, Village President Kevin Wallace extended a special invitation to the delegation from Hsinchu to visit Bartlett during their next cultural exchange in the Chicago area.
