VILLAGE OF HOFFMAN ESTATES: Nominate your neighbors for the Community Pride Awards!

Village of Hoffman Estates issued the following announcement on July 8.

Do you know a property owner who deserves to be recognized for their beautiful landscaping or their commitment to "green" practices? The Sustainability Commission is once again sponsoring the Village's Community Pride Recognition Awards. Nominations must be submitted by Tuesday, July 31. Awards will be given in the following categories:

Detached single-family home
Attached single-family home
Neighborhood or homeowners association

Special recognition will be given for properties that incorporate sustainable landscaping practices, including the use of rain barrels, composting, or non-toxic pest/weed control.
