Village of Hoffman Estates issued the following announcement on June 22.
Rockstar Rodeo will bring its modern pop country sounds to the Village Green on Thursday, June 28, at 7 p.m. as part of the “Summer Sounds on the Green” concert series, sponsored by the Hoffman Estates Arts Commission and the Hoffman Estates Park District.
Rockstar Radio has been rocking audiences all over Chicagoland with their mix of top 40 country hits and timeless country and rock classics. This high-energy show will have you on your feet, dancing and singing along!
Please note that there is NO Summer Sounds concert on Thursday, July 5. The Sears Centre Arena is hosting Northwest Fourth-Fest July 4 through July 8, featuring a carnival, live music, fireworks and more. Visit www.northwestfourthfest.com for details. The Summer Sounds concert series returns Thursday, July 12, with Second Hand Soul Band, and continues through Thursday, August 2.
The Virginia Mary Hayter Village Green is located at 5510 Prairie Stone Parkway, across the street from the Sears Centre Arena in the Poplar Creek at 59/90 “Entertainment District.”
Admission is free. Bring a blanket or a lawn chair to the amphitheater. Picnics are welcome!
Levy Restaurants will be on hand to sell a variety of traditional snack foods, while the Hoffman Estates Beer Garden will be open and offering traditional German fare. New for 2018, the Craft Canteen atop the hill overlooking Village Green will offer craft beer, food and more!
