Northbrook Park District issued the following announcement on June 20.
Calling all teens (ages 12-15)! We invite you to follow us on Instagram at @nb_parks and post a picture of how you’re staying cool at the Northbrook Park District Pools this summer with the hashtag #StayCoolatNBPool! Get creative! It could be a picture of you jumping off the diving board, a group shot of you and your friends enjoying the sun, a friend climbing up the new rock wall at the Sports Center Pool or you underwater with your GoPro. When you post, you’ll be entered to win awesome prizes such as gift cards to Dick’s Sporting Goods and AMC Theatres.
Here’s what you need to know to enter the contest:
- Make sure your Instagram profile is public
- You must follow @nb_parks on Instagram
- Post a picture how you are staying cool at the Meadowhill Aquatic Center or the Northbrook Sports Center between now and July 7 using the hashtag #StayCoolatNBPool
- Attend the Park District’s Teen Pool Night on July 8
The prizes for the top three entries are as follows:
First Place: $75 gift card to Dick’s Sporting Goods
Second Place: $50 gift card to AMC Theatres
Third Place: $25 gift card to Jimmy John’s
