TOWNSHIP HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT 214: Local realtors invited to District 214 Breakfast discussion on June 21

Meeting 10

Township High School District 214 recently issued the following announcement.

High School District 214 will host a breakfast event for realtors who sell within its communities -- a more than 60-square-mile area that encompasses six comprehensive high schools and specialized programming for 12,000 students.

The breakfast is scheduled for Thursday, June 21 at the Forest View Educational Center, 2121 S. Goebbert Road in Arlington Heights. Networking will run from 7:30 a.m. to 8 a.m. The program, featuring Superintendent Dr. David R. Schuler -- the 2018 National Superintendent of the Year -- will take place from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m.

The event is free. There will be time for discussion, questions and answers from realtors.

Dr. Schuler will share information on key District 214 initiatives, student learning opportunities and other relevant information to equip realtors with the latest data, stories and takeaways that they can use to better help their clients.

Specifically, he will cover the schools' Redefining Ready! initiative, Career Pathways program and learning for students in and out of the classroom.

Though the event is free, an RSVP is required as breakfast is provided. To confirm your attendance, contact Gina Badal, gina.badal@d214.org or 847-718-7606.

The event is hosted by the District's Community Engagement and Outreach Department, with a goal of continuing to engage the public in the District's mission and shift the local, regional and national dialogue on public education.
