EVANSTON TOWNSHIP HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT 202: ETHS congratulates 2018 graduates

College graduation form 690

Evanston Township High School District 202 issued the following announcement on June 11.

More than 850 students from Evanston Township High School walked the stage at the Sears Centre in Hoffman Estates during the Class of 2018 graduation ceremony on June 3, 2018. The commencement speaker, Evanston Mayor Steve Hagerty, shared stories of courage, empathy, and persistence with students and families. He also reflected on how ETHS students admirably demonstrated such character traits during the past year to stand up for issues that are important to them. “I’m not worried about you being ready for the world. I know ETHS has prepared all of you, whether you return to Evanston or settle someplace else, to be citizens of the world,” Hagerty stated.
