The Northwest Side GOP Club is slated to host its annual Illinois-Advised Conservative Collective and Banquet on June 21 in Niles at the Lone Tree Manor.
Kicking off at 4:30 p.m., the annual fundraiser will feature workshops, networking, exhibitors, raffles and keynote addresses and speeches from elected officials and a handful of Republican candidates on the ballot in this November’s general election.
Radio talk show host and former GOP candidate for governor Dan Proft is scheduled to serve as the keynote speaker, with Mark Shaw, co-chair of the Illinois Republican Party and Lake County GOP chairman, also delivering a guest speaker address.
Other elected officials and state and county officials committed to being on hand include Rep. Jeanne Ives (R-Wheaton); Dan Patlak, Cook County Board of Review commissioner; Jack Dorgan, State GOP Central committeeman and former Illinois GOP state chairman; Peter Silvestri, Cook County commissioner; Char Foss-Eggemann, State GOP Central committee member and Maine Township committee member; and Anthony Beckman, Norwood Park Township committeeman.
From the candidate’s list, NWSGOP’s own Ammie Kessem, who is running in the 19th House District, will be on hand along with Amanda Biela, who is running in the 15th House District, and Marilyn Smolenski, a candidate in the 55th House District.
Dinner tickets for the event are $100, with sponsorships available at $1,000 (recognition), $1,500 (special recognition) and $2,000 (premium recognition).
