Graduates earn 163 degrees from The Illinois Institute of Art-Schaumburg

About 66.3 percent of the 163 degrees and certificates handed out by the The Illinois Institute of Art-Schaumburg in 2016-17 were to students in Visual and Performing Arts programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private for-profit institution in Schaumburg conferred 103 bachelor's degrees and 5 associate's degrees in Visual and Performing Arts programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in Graphic Design. Data shows the school gave out 24 bachelor's degrees in Graphic Design, followed by 23 bachelor's degrees in Intermedia/Multimedia and 21 bachelor's degrees in Recording Arts Technology/Technician.

The institute enrolled 512 students for 2016-17, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
