Village of Wilmette recently issued the following announcement.
Village offices will be closed Monday, May 28th in observance of Memorial Day.
Refuse and recycling collection will be delayed by one day with Friday’s collection taking place on Saturday.
The Memorial Day Parade will take place on Monday, May 28th at 10 a.m.
The parade route starts at St. Joseph School at Ridge and Lake and goes east on Lake Avenue to Park, south on Park to Wilmette, and east on Wilmette to the Village Hall.
A memorial ceremony will follow the parade at the Village Hall.
