Report: Lincolnwood spent $16,810 per student in 2016-17

Spending per pupil at Lincolnwood School District 74 is up 2 percent from five years ago, according to a North Cook News analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2016-17 report card shows the Cook County school district spent $16,550 per pupil in 2012-13. It spent $16,810 in 2016-17.

The district saw its enrollment rise over the same period, from 1239 to 1246.

Lincolnwood's spending in 2016-17 was 30 percent higher than the state average of $12,973.
