Evanston-Skokie Community Consolidated School District 65 recently issued the following announcement.
Congratulations to several D65 educators for earning the very prestigious National Board Certification this winter!
Known as the “gold standard” in teacher certification, the National Board was designed to develop, retain, and recognize those educators who show a commitment to improving education for all students.
Teachers voluntarily pursue the very rigorous process of earning National Board Certification putting in many hours of work over two to three years. Congratulations to Taylor Fusinatto, Shannon Dangerfield, Kristie Rachell, Daryl Periman, Emily Stankovic, and Brittany Noble.
District 65 is currently supporting two cohorts with 26 teachers participating in the process and the district presently has 23 teachers with National Board Certification in their content area.
